Knowing Ashmi...almost

Shubh: What happened yaar?? any problem??Ashmita: Naah!! nothing as such..Shubh: Then why didn’t you complete your task and return t class.Ashmita: I just wanted to be alone for sometime.
Shubh sensed that something was majorly wrong with her he wanted to know as exactly what happened.He then came closer to her and asked her polietly that can he share her sorrow so that he can see that beautiful smile back on her face. Listening this Ashmita just couldn’t stop smiling and said that you are too much Shubh!!! Shubh requested her to come to nearby coffee shop so that they both can just sit and talk so that she could feel relaxed. Shubh just wanted to see the beautiful smile on her face. Judging that Ashmita also said that she really felt good in his company and was really different from other guys she knew. Somehow that topic was bothering Shubh aswhat may have happened bcos of which she is so tensed .So after taking the corner table in the coffee shop Shubh asked Ashimta.

Shubh: So now tell me what is bothering my dear friend and what is the reason that has taking away the mystic smile from you?
Ashmita: Well its a long story man dont ask me bcos it has broken my believe in relationship and love.
Shubh: What??What happened. tell me ..why r u saying so ???
Ashmita: she kept silent for somwtime and tears rolled down her eyes whcih made shubh very emotional.
Shubh: Dont tell if it hurts you. I cant see you like this and i cant see anyone shedding tears. Everything will be fine and while saying so he just wiped her tears and asked her drink some cold water so that she can feel okay.
But Ashmita went on with her story becos she felt the need to say it to someone and who better than Shubh becosshe started having a feel good factor for him which shubh was unaware of.While narrating the story one thing hit Shubh very hardly and that was the statement Ashmita said regarding love Because this was the same statement his roommate Siddhu said while narrating his story. She said .."You know Shubh !!Yash was real love!!! And I wanted to marry him but you know what that guy said to me??? He only wanted me a goodfriend and nothing more than that..."Listening to this Shubh just lost his cool and asked her "Then what is real love ??

I mean you say that he was your real Love, have you ever before discussed it with him that what was his opinion regarding this relationship?? I can’t understand that how do everyone come into a conclusion just thinking from one aspect. You know my roommate Siddhu had a similar situation as your and he also uttered similar sentence stating that it was real love on his part and wanted to marry that gal and here you. Come-on yaar , I just cant understand what kind of love is this...Before he could further add to his sudden burst the cell phone of Ashmita rang up and it was her driver this time asking her to get back
home. She on her part asked to drop Shubh but he declined stating a very weird reason which Ashmita didn’t like much.He said that he will prefer the blue line bus bcos the travel from South Ex to his place is one of the most romantic rides and he cannot compromise sitting in a closed car and with just two ppl inside it.Anyways time went by and the friendship between Shubhank and Ashmita matured day by day.By this time it was month of February and Valentine’s Day was on cards and everyone in the Software firm were planning something or the other. Sitting in the lounge area after class both of them were discussing some course material when suddenly out of blue Ashmita asked Shubh.

Ashmita: So with whom are you going to celebrate Valentine's Day??Shubh: Why anything special on that day he said teasingly knowingly so that he can provoke a gud conversation with her.Ashimat : She smiled and replied No!! just asking any special person or any special plan.Shubh: Nahin yaar, no time for valentines and all.Now this statement of his didn’t went down easily with her .She asked him in a very blunt way.Ashmita: Kyon ??? don’t you have any girl friend to celebrate this day with her???

Shubh just looked her at her and politely said "I just don’t believe in these sort of foolish celebrations, what happens when the celebration ends??? just wait for another foolish day to come so that everyone can celebrate that day. These are all so filmy i think so I don’t associate myself with these celebrations.Ashmita was both impressed and a bit taken back hearing these practical point of view of Shubh.
Ashmita: Strange Man!!!! I haven’t heard these sorts of direct answers from anyone youngster in my friend circle.Shubh: Well I wasn’t like this before but i have learnt these things through ppl around me. And I can't really understand what these sort of celebration really meant for. These are all commercialization of that thing called love. These big business houses are cashing on the soft sentiments of young ppl like us.. Selling love through cards, gifts, through big gala parties .Though i m not against any celebrations but as far as my views are concerned love is not a one day affair and at least I don’t need one single day to celebrate my love towards anyone I love and care about. Becos I feel like if anyone is in love its forever and commercialization won’t affect it.Ashmita was stunned hearing this opinion of his towards relationship .She somehow came closer to his views and internally the respect towards him grew more and more.
Shubh: Anyways u tell me what’s your plan? Must be having a grand party sort of …
Ashmita: Hmmm….not really, lets see I haven’t planned anything yet .By the way why don’t we both go n watch movie in nearby multiplex wat do u say?? I haven’t watched any current movie…chalo na..plzzz
